Beautiful superior officer's sword, hallmarked silver hilt, keyboard decorated with a staff trophy, in the center a rooster surmounted by the royal crown, pommel in the form of a crook, spindle with two gadrooned mother-of-pearl plates; flat blade gilded and blued in thirds, signed on the heel: "S & K". The hilt is stamped with a rooster, 1809/1819, medium guarantee, silversmith: "B G" or "B C"; length 95 cm. (Without scabbard). First Empire period, modified under Louis-Philippe. Very good condition*.
